Established at the beginning of 1950’s on a research project for the processing of plastic and synthetic resins conducted by Montecatini Edison, Connecticut immediately became a leader in the sector thanks to its innovative technologies and materials. Connecticut was the first company worldwide to produce, in addition to other plastic products, synthetic resin and PVC interior doors.
Thanks to the great commercial success of PVC doors, from the beginning of the 1960’s the Company focused on this production, becoming one of the most important Italian firms specialized in the design and production of interior doors for nonresidential buildings. Ongoing research in the field of materials, technical-functional solutions and design are proof of the company unchanged enthusiasm and motivation.
